Rubbishapp is a free mobile app that shows bin collection days in Greater Manchester covering Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan.

How it works

Enter your postcode, pick your address, and the app shows the collections your council has scheduled for you - which bins, and when. Set a reminder and your phone will nudge you on the day or the evening before, at a time you choose.

Where the information comes from

Collection details come straight from your local council's website, fetched when you look up your address.

Who's behind this life-changing app?

Rubbishapp is built by How, a Manchester-based web and mobile development agency. It is not an official app for Recycle for Greater Manchester or any of the local councils.
